Christmas Season
I was so blessed to be able to have my sister here during Christmas. She helped out with all our Christmas gatherings and was able to meet all our friends. We had a different program almost every night beginning from the day she arrived on the 18th to the 26th. We were really busy but it was an amazing Christmas! We are involved in a cultural exchange class at one of the universities here, so we had an
interesting gathering. We wore traditional dress, ate food from 3 different countries,
and learned music and dance from 4 different countries. Kristen sang a song, we ate some
Christmas cake, and shared the true story of Christmas.
Scope Christmas Party
The second gathering we had was at our home. We invited everyone we knew to
come celebrate with us. We all met new people and had a wonderful evening.
We also did some more dancing, which is always fun.
Christmas Party #2
The next night we went caroling. This might have been the funnest night! We went to 4 of our friends' houses around the city. I think our friends really enjoyed it; they all tried to sing along!
We wish you a Merry Christmas
The next night we had a lovely evening with some of friends with families. Our language helpers and good friends and their families came, along with 2 other wonderful families. We had spaghetti for dinner to introduce a new food to our friends here. We also played the White Elephant game, which was truly entertaining!
